A man was allegedly stripped naked and thrashed with a burning stick on suspicion of theft in the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. The incident was reported on February 4. A video of the incident has now gone viral.
Two men, Hetram and Golu, accused one youth, Arvind Kalawat, of stealing a mobile phone in Ladpura village, located in the Vijaypur police station area of the Guna district in Madhya Pradesh.

They took Arvind to their farmhouse and allegedly stripped him naked. They then thrashed Arvind with a burning stick and even filmed a video of the incident. The clip has now gone viral on social media.
After the incident was reported, police registered an FIR against the accused under sections 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and SC/ST (Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) Act of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Soon, accused Hetram was arrested and his accomplice, Golu, is still absconding.
