The Campus Front of India (CFI), in a press conference organized on Wednesday, February 9, claimed that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members were the ones who supplied saffron shawls and provoked students.
“ABVP supplied saffron shawls and petas to students. They are the ones who provoke students to get involved in violence. They could’ve stopped this Hijab controversy in Udupi but they spread to other districts of the state,” said CFI Karnataka president Attaullah Punjalkati in the press conference.
He further claimed that the ABVP, BJP and other right-wing organizations were responsible for the violence spreading across states.
